Star Radio broadcasts on 107.9FM in Cambridge and on 107.1FM in Ely and the Fens and is transmitted on DAB as part of the Cambridge minimux trial. It is also carried online.

Star Radio supports a wide range of local charities and events across the year.
Recent examples include the Ely Christmas Lights Switch On, Ely Eel Day and the Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival as well as the Star Christmas Toy Appeal.

We provide hourly bulletins containing local news stories in peak time each weekday from 630am - 9am and 4pm - 6pm. Weekends feature national news bulletins on the hour with additional local news and information following between 10am and 2pm. At other times we take national and international news supplied by Sky News.
