A woman has died and a man has been arrested following a crash on the M11.
Police were called to Junction 8 (Bishops Stortford) of the M11 at around 6am on Sunday 28 April 2024 following a single vehicle collision.
Emergency services attended and the road was closed southbound from Junction 9 (Saffron Walden) for much of the day.
A woman in her 40s died at the scene, and a 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and remains in custody.
Police are urging witnesses to come forward.
