A group of Alpacas escaped from a farm and crossed the A1307.

The herd were spotted in Hemingford Abbots near St Ives on Sunday 7 April 2024.

The fluffy absconders had broken free from their field at around 1pm.

Drivers found themselves stuck in a traffic jam when the animals attempted to cross the A1307.

Police were called but the animals had already been rescued by farmers when officers arrived.
