Haverhill collision - update

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Henderson Close, Haverhill.

Officers were called at around 03.30am on Saturday 28 October to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a Ford Transit milk float.

The 43-year-old woman pedestrian sustained a potentially life threatening head injury, and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. The woman’s injuries are not as serious as first thought and she is now in a stable condition in hospital.

The driver of the milk float was uninjured.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Road Policing on 101 quoting CAD 55 of the 28 October.
