Cambridge gym takes on 24-hour charity workout

Full Circle Fitness in Dry Drayton is embarking on a 24-hour charity workout.

The gym is run by personal trainer Simon Goswell.

Every year, Simon and his fellow gym bunnies raise money for a good cause by running 24 1-hour sessions back-to-back.

The classes are free to attend, as long as a donation is made to charity.

This year, Simon and his team have chosen the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Cambridge.

They say they welcome any support - from £1 to £1000!

Simon told Star why he started the initiative:

The Arthur Rank Hospice specialises in supporting people living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition such as cancer.

Whilst they receive some government funding, they still need to find almost £5million every year to operate.

It costs over £10,000 each year to transport sick patients to be treated and cared for at Arthur Rank.

Simon and and the Full Circle Fitness crew are hoping to raise that money in the next 24 hours.
