Appeal following robbery in Cambridge

POLICE would like to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV images in connection with a robbery in Cambridge.

The victim, a woman in her 50s, was walking in Hills Road, Cambridge at around 11.15am on Thursday, 21 September when a man ran up behind her and grabbed her bag forcibly knocking her to the floor.

The offender then stamped on her hands causing injuries which required hospital treatment before making off with the bag.

Detective Constable Cheryl Harris said: “This was a nasty unprovoked attack so we are keen to hear from anyone with information.”
