Cambridgeshire Police were called to the village of Manea near Chatteris on Sunday.
A man has been charged following an armed robbery and fatal collision in Manea.
Officers were called at about 7.15pm with reports of an armed robbery at Manea Post Office, in Park Road.
Then at 7.30pm, officers were alerted by ambulance crews to a car in a water-filled ditch in Byall Fen Drove, just outside the village.
Road policing officers found a man dead in the silver Ford Focus.
25-year-old Sonny Loveridge from Stretham Station Road in Wilburton, near Ely, has been charged with robbery and causing death by dangerous driving.
He's due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 24 October 2023.
