Join Star for Arthur Rank's Star Shine Night Walk in June

This celebratory sunset walk takes place on Saturday 22nd June, offering a 10 mile and a 5 mile route through historic Cambridge City Centre - and is proudly supported by Star Radio.

As the sun sets on one of the longest days of the year, this will be a special way to remember and celebrate loved ones while raising funds for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.

Star Radio's Andy Lake will be there to cheer you on, as we set the city aglow for another fabulous event in 2024.

Get your walking shoes ready and join us for the walk which starts and finishes at Shelford Rugby Club. Hundreds of walkers will come together, alongside their friends, families and colleagues to raise money for hospice care in Cambridge.

As you meander through the beautiful streets of Cambridge, you'll know that every step you take will help support someone going through a tough time.

Last year, the event generated £40,000, which goes towards the Hospice's work with people living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition. You can make 2024 even bigger by registering here!

Matron of Clinical Services, Carly Wills, joins the walk most years and commented: 

“Star Shine Night Walk is great fun and also gives, those who work for the Charity, an opportunity to remember the patients we care for. The best bit is, it takes us twice as long, because the volunteers and relatives stop to hug us, as we meet them again along the walk!”
