Located on the top floor beneath the roof top bar and Garden of The Varsity Hotel with breathtaking 360° views across the Cambridge skyline, it's the perfect place to visit on a summer evening and enjoy the picturesque views of Cambridge.
The relaxed Brasserie and Cocktail bar boast stunning views of the River and across the cities key colleges including St. John's, Trinity, Jesus and Magdalene.
The Cambridge restaurant is open all day serving delicious dishes from our Wood Stone oven, Grill and Rotisserie. They also offer a fabulous range of cocktails and with over 30 Gins paired with 8 different tonics, all served in an informal setting.
Afternoon Tea is also available daily with homemade pastries served from 2pm-5.30pm each day.
The Fox Burwell
The Fox is a traditional village pub and restaurant right at the heart of the community with a large front patio perfect for the summer months. Five real ales are available: Doom Bar, IPA and London Pride, plus 2 ever changing guests. There's also a wide selection of lagers including San Miguel on tap, two great ciders in Stowfords Press and Aspells, a comprehensive wine list, a selection of spirits, malts and liqueurs and of course there are the Tequilas – over 40 in total!
The Authentic Mexican Restaurant offers a varied authentic Mexican and prime steak menu. You will find dishes such as Enchiladas, Burritos, Fajitas, Chilli’s on the menu, alongside a range of locally sourced, perfectly aged steaks.There's also fresh seafood dishes and more obscure Mexican specials on the specials board.
The River Bar Steakhouse and Grill
The River Bar Steakhouse & Grill is located on the river at Quayside, with breathtaking views of Magdalene College.
They aim to serve the most tender, full flavoured steak, only ever using the finest prime beef aged for 28 days, fresh fish, great vegetarian dishes and homemade puddings
Their staff are friendly and professional, the riverside restaurant in Cambridge has a relaxed Brasserie feel and food is served in the unique surroundings of the 19th century bonded warehouse, overlooking the River Cam that gives it lots of atmosphere.
The Varsity Rooftop Terrace
The roof top garden is a great place to visit in the summer in Cambridge. You can enjoy a glass of champagne from the extensive champagne menu, or a cooling glass of Pimms and lemonade from the drinks list lounging on one of the sofas, relaxing, as the world passes by below.
In the late afternoon/early evening The Varsity rooftop becomes the most romantic spot in the city, watching the sun set whilst enjoying a champagne cocktail, or a gin and tonic.

The Wheatsheaf in Stow-Cum-Quy is a family run pub and restaurant. They serve quality English and authentic home made Italian food, with pasta made daily on site. They cater for vegetarian and gluten free customers, too.
Parking is available on site so it's perfect if you're wanting to try somewhere new outside of the city centre.
