    • Scudamore's Punting

Scudamore's introduced leisure-punting in Cambridge at the beginning of the 20th century. The activity was so popular with residents and Cambridge University students that by 1920 punting had become the number one boating activity on The Cam. Our award-winning traditional boat tours are the best way to enjoy beautiful views of Cambridge, set along the famous 'College Backs' stretch of the river. Discover how the city has evolved from medieval market town to world-class centre for education whilst enjoying the spectacular views from the river. Each season we select and train a group of guides who have a passion for history and a talent for sharing it with our customers.
