Power tools stolen from vehicle in Newmarket

Police are appealing for witnesses to a theft from a motor vehicle that took place in Newmarket.

It happened overnight at some point between 7pm on Wednesday 22 November and 8.40am on Thursday 23 November outside a property on Nimbus Way.

A white Peugeot van had its passenger side window smashed and then the handbrake was taken off and rolled the van forward allowing access to a rear door that was parked up against another vehicle. A large quantity of power tools was taken to the approximate value of £6,000.

The vehicle was broken into again at 10pm Thursday 23 November, where the sliding side door was forced and a power drill was stolen.
