Fatal collision in Cambridge – cyclist named

    A CYCLIST who died following a collision with a car in Cambridge has been named.

    Anthony Whitten, 64, of Gilbert Road, Cambridge was cycling along Newmarket Road on Wednesday (29 November) at about 9.15pm when he was involved in a collision with an orange Ford Focus C-Max.

    Sadly Mr Whitten died at the scene.

    PC Matthew Bill from the Road Policing Unit is keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision or saw Mr Whitten in the moments leading up to the collision.
